KVPW 2016 REGISTRATION DATES

  • *February 20, 2016                        Wheatfield Library                        10:00am-2:00pm
  • March 19, 2016                                DeMotte Library                           10:00am-2:00pm

  • May 21, 2016                                    DeMotte Library                           10:00am-2:00pm

*FEBRUARY 20, 2016 is an EARLY BIRD registration for football and cheer. Fees for this date only are $160.00 first athlete, $130.00 for every additional athlete. All other registration dates the fees will be $180.00 first athlete, $140.00 for every additional athlete. Please bring your athlete to registration. All athletes, football and cheer will need to be fitted for their equipment/uniforms. For any questions please contact Dave Arroyo at 630-688-1672 or Jon Kooistra at 219-746-2674. If your child did not play the 2015 season, you will need to bring in a copy of his/her birth certificate.

 FLAG FOOTBALL

Registration will be held on 2/20, 3/19, 4/9 at regular registration. Flag football will be on Saturdays starting April 23, 2016-May 14, 2016. The athletes will have one hour of practice, then one hour of game. Cost of Flag Football is $20.00 with no t-shirt. Times are yet to be determine. ***This  camp is open to athletes 5-15 years of age.

FOOTBALL COMBINE/SKILLS CAMP

This year KVPW will be hosting a Combine/Skills camp. Registration for this camp will be at all registrations. The camp will run from June 6, 2016- June 17, 2016. Monday-Friday from 5:30pm-7:30pm. The cost of this camp is $50.00 per child. All participants will receive a t-shirt at the end of the camp. ***This camp is open to athletes 5-15 years of age.

JUNE CHEER CAMP

Registration for the June Cheer camp will be at all registrations. The camp will run from June 13, 2016-June 17, 2016. Monday -Friday from 5:30pm-7:30pm. The cost of this camp is $35.00 per child. All participants will receive a t-shirt at the end of the camp. ***This camp is open to athletes 5-15 years of age.

 

KVPW Parents…. all other open board positions are 1 year positions and need to be filled for the 2016 football and cheer season are as follows:

If you are interested in any of these positions, please send a letter of intent to Dave Arroyo at d.arroyo03@hotmail.com  The season flys by fast and planning for the next year usually happens all year long.  Year Around Cheerleading

Parents Kankakee Valley Pop Warner is now offering Year around cheerleading. Sign ups for this is taking place on January 6, 2016 at the DeMotte Library from 6-7pm. Cost is $80.00 and if your child did not cheer during the 2015 season, you will need to bring a copy of their birth certificate. If you have any questions about this, please contact our cheer director Sara Lotz at 219-816-1116.

 

 

 

 

INCLIMATE WEATHER/SEVRE WEATHER: The following is Pop Warner Policy…

If lightening is within 5 miles, the game or practice should be suspended and shelter sought out. Games and / or practices may resume 30 min after the last lightning strike within 5 miles. Parents, you need to stick around at practice if severe weather is rolling in!

 

 KVPW Football parents…There is to be NO parking on the frontage road or in the gravel parking lot on the North side of the school. You need to park in the lot on the North end of the school. If that is full, there is a lot on the South end of the school. This is the rules of the school corporation.
