MANDATORY Weigh-In’s / Picture Id’s

Saturday August 20, 2016 is the Mandatory Weigh-In’s/Picture Id’s. This is for all Football Players, Cheerleaders, Coaches, Spotters and Board Members. This event is taking place at Portage High School. ( 6450 Us Highway 6, Portage, Indiana.) We need all athletes to be lined up with their Teams/Squads at 9:30am.

  • FOOTBALL PLAYERS need to wear……. Red game Jersey, Red shorts (per Coach Dave Arroyo) If you don’t have red shorts please wear gray or black.
  • CHEERLEADERS need to wear…… Hair pulled up with Cheer Bow, Uniform shirt (Shell), Shorts and Gym shoes.


Youth Football night is taking place on Friday September 30, 2016. This takes place at the KVHS football game. We will be sitting in our own section with your teams/squads.

Parents you will need to have your athlete at the KVHS Football practice field at 6:00pm. Football players are to wear their Red game Jersey and Cheerleaders will wear their warm ups. Please dress them accordingly to the weather.

The athletes will walk in with their teams/squads. Parents you must enter through the main gate and will have to pay. Your athlete who is with their team will get in for free. All athletes will sit with their team/squad until half time of the HS game. Then we will be announced on the intercom and your athlete will walk on to the field. Once halftime is over you must pick up your athlete and can leave or stay and watch the rest of the HS Football game.





Registration will be held on 2/20, 3/19, 4/9 at regular registration. Flag football will be on Saturdays starting April 23, 2016-May 14, 2016. The athletes will have one hour of practice, then one hour of game. Cost of Flag Football is $20.00 with no t-shirt. Flag football will be taking place at the KVMS from 9am-11am. ***This  camp is open to athletes 5-15 years of age.


FOOTBALL COMBINE/SKILLS CAMPcombine camp 2012 2 2016

This year KVPW will be hosting a Combine/Skills camp. Registration for this camp will be at all registrations. The camp will run from June 6, 2016- June 17, 2016. Monday-Friday from 5:30pm-7:30pm. The cost of this camp is $50.00 per child. All participants will receive a t-shirt at the end of the camp. ***This camp is open to athletes 5-15 years of age. combine camp 2016

2016 Combine/Skills camp….. KVPW would like to say a special thank you to all the coaches, players and parents. Skills results to follow shortly.

JUNE CHEER CAMPCheer canp 2016 2016

Registration for the June Cheer camp will be at all registrations. The camp will run from June 13, 2016-June 17, 2016. Monday -Friday from 5:30pm-7:30pm. The cost of this camp is $35.00 per child. All participants will receive a t-shirt at the end of the camp. ***This camp is open to athletes 5-15 years of age.

 INCLIMATE WEATHER/SEVRE WEATHER: The following is Pop Warner Policy…

If lightening is within 5 miles, the game or practice should be suspended and shelter sought out. Games and / or practices may resume 30 min after the last lightning strike within 5 miles. Parents, you need to stick around at practice if severe weather is rolling in!


 KVPW Football parents…There is to be NO parking on the frontage road or in the gravel parking lot on the North side of the school. You need to park in the lot on the North end of the school. If that is full, there is a lot on the South end of the school. This is the rules of the school corporation.

The May board meeting is cancelled due to scheduling issues.
